       UNIVERSAL LOCAL-OSCILLATOR SYNTHESIZER
       FOR COHERENT-C'~ RECEIVERS AND TRANSMITTERS
       
* Connects to the l-Mhz output of your CCW frequency standard
    and delivers super-clean r.f. output for Ham-band
    coverage with frequency as accurate and stable as your
    standard.
    
* Several versions available:

    ULOS A: 5-6 MHz in 100 Hz steps for 80 and 20 Meter
    coverage with a 9-Mhz i.f.
    
    ULOS B: 11-16 MHz in 100 Hz steps for 80 and 15 Meter
    coverage with a 9 MHz i.f. or for direct transmitting
    on 20 Meters (or 40, 80, or 160 Meters with external
    frequency dividers you can make; these dividers are
    not included with the synthesizer)
    
    ULOS C: 1.1-1.6 MHz in 10 Hz step. When used with an
    up-converter now being developed by Petit Logic Systems,
    this version gives coverage of all Ham bands with 10 Hz
    steps when used with a 9-Mhz i.f. (Note: if you purchase
another version and later want version C, return
    it to Petit Logic Systems with your order for the up-
    converter, and it will be changed to version C and made
    a component of your new all-band system: no extra charge.)
    
    ULOS D: Custom frequency ranges: maximum ratio of upper
    to lower frequency, 1.2; outputs suitable for synthesizing
most commercial HF/SSB/CW rigs. Specify desired
    frequency range with order.
    
* Output: 2 volt p-p squarewave into 50 ohms, standard.
    Up to 4-volt p-p available, no extra charge.
    
* Spectral Purity: All non-harmonic discrete spurious
    better than 80 dB below carrier; phase noise down at
    least 120 dB/Hz at 10 kHz offset; harmonics arc strong
    (These may be filtered out easily if desired; however,
    many applications do not require harmonic filtering).
    
* Simple Operation: Comes complete and ready to operate. Just
    connect 12 volt power (75 mA required) and your frequency
    standard--then dial your frequency on the front-panel
    decimal switches.
