ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

We're Sold Out of Kits ... but an improved kit is coming this Summer!!
     We are currently all sold out of Micro908 Kits and cannot accept new orders until we have more stock. 
We are working to add some great new capabilities:
(1) New PC Board containing built-in new reflectometer (REFL3) with improved accuracy;
(2) Provision for new math coprocessor to give advanced measurement capabilities;
(3) Provision for USB connection to PC for data logging, remote control and program updating; and
(4) Provision for new graphic display, providing the pathway to display graphical Z and SWR plots on the instrument

Construct your order using the list below and submit payment through PayPal or by mailing us a check or Money Order.

You may use the PayPal links to assist in placing your order, or you can manually total up your selected components and send a check or Money Order to the address at the bottom of the page.  (Maryland residents must add sales tax to their order.)

Domestic orders will be shipped by UPS Ground.  Allow 3-6 days for delivery.  International orders will be shipped by Air Mail.  Allow 5-7 days for delivery.

Micro908 Kit
Includes PC Board, all board mounted components, controls, connectors, LCD, HC908 Daughtercard, DDS Daughtercard and enclosure. [AD9851 DDS chip not included ... see the DDS option below.]

Micro908 Bare PCB
We updated the main Micro908 pc board for the latest kit and it contains all the cuts, adds and components modifications accumulated over the last four years.  This is great for those who haven't yet started building their older kits.

KK7P DSPx Daughtercard
This accessory is needed when the Micro908 hardware platform serves as a signal processing instrument such as an audio filter (running the AF908 software) or as a modem for the digital modes (when this development is complete.) These and other signal processing applications are in development and will soon be freely available on the project web pages. This DSPx accessory is heavily discounted from the standard TAPR price and may only be purchased with the Micro908 Kit. This discount is presented to encourage DSP experimentation within the homebrewing community. Thus only one DSPx Daughtercard may be purchased per each Micro908 owned.  Many thanks to designer Lyle Johnson, KK7P for his collaboration with the AmQRP on this project.

Analog Devices AD9851 DDS Chip
Analog Devices no longer offers the AD9851 DDS chip as a free sample - a result of the tightening economy, I guess.  As a result we purchased some in bulk and we're offering them at our cost to those purchasing a Micro908 Kit. Alternatively, you could purchase them from Digi-Key (http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=AD9851BRSZ-ND).   NOTE:  Because we have limited quantities, only one DDS chip may be purchased per each Micro908 purchased at the same time.

Ordering by Mail
You may also order by mail. Payment may be submitted as cash (US currency), personal checks, Money Orders or International Money Orders. Checks and Money Orders must be written to "Midnight Design Solutions." and must be payable in US dollars and redeemable at a major US bank. Orders that deviate from these options will be returned to sender. 

Orders from Maryland residents need to include appropriate sales tax.  If not included, your order will be held until full payment is received.
